Two Wall Street Journal reporters, Sue Schmidt (better known from her stint at the Washington Post) and Glenn Simpson, have left their reporting days behind them and hung out an investigative shingle: SNS Global LLC.

According to a report from Michael Calderone over at Politico, Schmidt indicated that despite the career change, she and Simpson will "still be investigating areas they covered while doing traditional journalism - everything from counterterrorism to international organized crime."

Not the worst time to leave the newspaper biz, I'd imagine.
