"Data Leak" and "Security Holes" at PayMaxx
Today PayMaxx firm pulled down parts of it's web-based payroll management system citing ongoing security holes that left customer date vulnerable on the web. What is interesting in the PayMaxx case is that it is one of the firm's own customers, Aaron Greenspan of Think Computer identified the security holes. PayMaxx has cast Greenspan's security flaw prospecting as "hacking" but Greenspan has been very vocal about what he sees as the company's lax protocols.
