What You See Might Not Be Real
Old Chinese proverb: "A picture is worth a thousand words." Or was that Japanese? Even old Frederick R. Barnard couldn't quite keep it straight.

In any case this work - What You See Might Not Be Real - from Chinese artist Chen Wenling captures quite a bit about the dynamics of our ongoing global economic woes.

I know I'll never think about financial "bubbles" in the same way again...

"Chinese artist Chen Wenling critiques the global financial crisis in What You See Might Not Be Real, on display at a Beijing gallery. The bull is said to represent Wall Street, while the man pinned to the wall represents jailed financier Bernard Madoff."
